The 76-year-old Arnold Schwarzenegger, a famous actor and bodybuilder, took up a pacemaker recently after heart complications, which he talked about on his podcast, Arnold’s Pump Club. In contrast to his homeland, where people value privacy a lot, Schwarzenegger made the decision to share his health journey with the public, and in doing so, he chose to share his health journey publicly to offer courage and hope to others facing similar challenges.
In his newsletter, the actor expressed gratitude for the well-care received at Cleveland Clinic and emphasized the importance of diligence in managing his health, especially due to a genetic heart issue that necessitated multiple valve replacement surgeries in the past.
Schwarzenegger’s heart surgery was a result of scar tissue remaining from prior operations, which led to an abnormal heart rate. Despite his daily exercises and fitness commitment, his heart showed a shortage during Arnold Sports when being implanted with a pacemaker. He advised the listeners to pay special attention to their health, telling them to make sure they do not hesitate to visit a doctor and to maintain contact with their healthcare providers.
Nevertheless, on account of a temporary hold on his gym exercises, Schwarzenegger promised to resume everything soon, including the movie FUBAR, and, in the process, keep on inspiring others through his storytelling.
